Early mariners would tattoo animals on their wrists and ankles for good luck as the animals were kept in crates on the ships, the crates would always float if the ship sank. Over time this became a mariners tradition to have a maritime themed braclet for good luck.
Each of our braclets has been hand crafted by the skipper of Arjuna.
